It’s only been 3 weeks since our house was delivered and set and we’re amazed at all the progress that’s been made. Here is a short list of all that’s been done (I’m sure I’m missing a few things):
- The HVAC system is in including all duct work and our electric heat pump (going solar baby!)
- The electricity has been run (still waiting for the electric company to hook it up to the pole)
- The well is dug and the well water system has been installed
- The garage is 90% done, our garage floor will be poured today and the rest of the siding will go up on Monday
- The foundation posts for the front porch are in, a missing header beam prevented them from starting the porch as of Wednesday (hopefully we’ll see some progress when we go out on Sunday)
- Soffits are being installed on going
- The door and windows have been installed in our walk out basement
- The excavator has finished clearing and grading our lot (septic will go in this week)
- Ceiling fans were installed

Our builder says that the outside work should be complete by the end of the next week and then they’ll just need to do the inside finishing work!
