What a great weekend! We sent our son off to visit his sister and celebrate his 21st birthday in Boston while we spent quality time with my mom! Here’s us having fun with our facetime filters!
We had so much fun with my momma that not a photo was taken (ugh! Gotta get better at that!). We laughed a lot, cried a little, dranks good wine (thanks Nikki M.!), reminisced about the past and made some exciting plans for the future (can you say BAHAMAS AND BERMUDA???)
Willow gave lots of licks and Elvis was his sweet old self.
They are zonked!
We got some seeds started and are looking forward to getting our hands dirty soon in the garden.
I’m still not used to this new normal. The one without my dad. Spring is supposed to be a time of renewal, hope and inspiration. But I’m still struggling. I’m being gentle with myself and know that it’s a “process”. So for now I’ll just continue to move forward, live our best life and honor him.
The message this week is that it is up to you to capture and create memories.
