Happy Easter!

Hi Everyone, today will be a short post because I’m going to spend the day with my family for the holiday. We’ll be hunting eggs (yes, even the 20 somethings!) and eating lots of traditional (for my family anyway) Easter recipes. Click here to check out what I made for brunch!  (Contrary to popular belief, it’s not all about egg whites and spinach!) But, today, most importantly, we’ll be together.

This week, I’ve been reminded of a few things.

Just for starters:

  1. Life is fragile, do not take any one moment for granted.
  2. It’s important to push ourselves out of our comfort zone if change is what we seek, but equally important to know our limits and not compare ourselves to anyone else.
  3. Hug our loved ones (including our pets) and treat them all in a way that if anything were to happen, they know you love them.
  4. Be patient with others.

There’s a story or two behind each of these lessons, I may address them in the future.

On a health and nutrition note, I’ve been working hard behind the scenes to create the menu plan and shopping list I talked about last week. I want to make it easy and practical while giving you the tools to create your own weekly plan. I’m putting a lot of work and thought into it so continue to stay tuned for the release of that!

Enjoy your day and your week!

Be healthy, be well
